Customers are people who need your assistance. They are not an interruption to your job but they are the reason for having that job. Others define customers as buyers and clients who wants to pay a fair price for quality service or products, feel satisfied with what they have paid for.

Customers also want someone to take care of them, to understand their needs and answer to their needs and wants. They need someone to hold
their hands and walk them through a process.

Thus customer service starts with the ability to listen to customers and find out through polite questioning what he/she needs. Thus, a customer is an end-user of the products or services. This is a person or an organisation that buys something or receives services from ours. E.g Students are customers of any educational institutions.

These comes from outside the organisation looking for services or products. E.g people who are looking for services and are not employees of the particular company. Generally, this includes people who visit businesses to buy goods or services, stakeholders, the government, and others.
