Some people think that entrepreneurship is all about business. This is not true as entrepreneurship deals with both business and non-business issues. The only way that both business and non-business can fulfill its mission is to apply effective mechanisms in utilising the available resources. Among the mechanisms of realising the desirable outcomes is the application of corporate entrepreneurship (intrapreneurship).

Corporate Entrepreneurship; this refers to the process of creating new business within established firms to improve organisational profitability and enhance a firm's competitive position or the strategic renewal of existing business.
Corporate Entrepreneurship is opened within an organisation or institution. Corporate Entrepreneurship is specific for people who are working in a particular firm. Thus, Corporate Entrepreneurship is the practice of entrepreneurship behaviors exercised formally or informally by employees within organisations which ultimately add value to the product or services offered by those organisations. These organisations can be private, government and non-government.
